Before and after on the #1870smerehouse. The 3 seasons porch (pictured with the double doors and 4 windows on right side) was not original to the house. We had to rebuild the entire porch since parts of it were rotted and not structurally sound. Now we are just waiting for the baby plants to grow... 🌳

A reflection of a home's past and it's new beginning. I like to think we have helped ensure this home is around for another 150 years.

Notes: We forgot to take photos of the house after the family moved out but before demo. Duh! Parts of the house were already demoed by the previous family (i.e. well intentions to renovate). Construction and renovating requires HARD work and TIME. It's layering and layering of several skilled trade and technical knowledge. Now try to DIY it. They make it look too easy on TV.
